The free EirText 3.0 update has finally been approved and is available to download from the App Store.

I’ve tested out the O2 Ireland Bill Pay one and it’s working perfectly.
Well worth checking out, but be careful you don’t go over your data allowance as you might be in for a big surprise when you receive your next bill.
Continue ReadingWhile EirText (1.7) & EirText Pro (2.0.5) are both fully compatible with iPhone OS 3.0, there seem to be a few keyboard-related issues popping up here and there. I’ve seen this problem myself and it’s extremely irritating.
Thankfully, a fix is available over on the support forums.
Please make sure you follow the steps exactly.
Update (24 June):
Simply go into Settings/General/Reset Keyboard Dictionary and do a reset.
Also, try change your keyboard language and then switch it back again.

If you’re still having issues with the apps on 3.0, please note that a 3.0-specific version of both apps has been submitted to Apple and is currently under review.
