Bio

My name is Vinny and I’m a software engineer, based in Galway, Ireland.

I graduated from NUI, Galway in 2007 with a BE in Electronic & Computer Engineering. I have a background developing software in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, .NET, and MFC for Windows. I also have experience developing desktop software for Mac OS and mobile applications for iPhone OS.

Before I became a freelance developer, I worked for a small Galway-based startup company called Futiro, developing middleware & hardware.

I have several apps available in the App Store:

- EirText: send free / cheap SMS.
- EirText Pro: send free / cheap SMS, with support for over 30 different providers.
- Simple List: Basic, clean, task manager.
- Clicki Phone: iPhone click-to-call solution for Outlook 2007 & and the Mac Address Book.

EirText has previously placed #1 in the Free Apps download chart in the App Store.
Both EirText Pro and My Bill have placed #1 in the Paid Apps download chart in the App Store.

I have also developed a number of popular apps for clients.
